Recoverer Michaël speaks: ‘No two days are the same and that keeps it exciting’

Michaël De Vreese started as a warehouse worker at VT Logistics a few months ago. Although he has not been part of the team for long, he is happy to call himself a recoverer. So he has not yet regretted responding to the vacancy that came up. He is happy to tell you about it himself.

Michaël : “My day is full of variety. I often do orderpicking, but I also drive the reachtruck to replenish pallets or split goods. That variety ensures that no two days are the same. And that keeps the job exciting.”

“We are only a small warehouse team. If there are three or four of you working in such a big warehouse, you naturally don’t run into each other that easily. But if necessary, we know where to find each other. Also for a chat, especially during quiet moments.”

Variety and personal growth

“When I saw this job at VT Logistics pass by, I did not hesitate for long. I now enjoy much more variety than with my previous employer, and the working hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. are perfectly combinable with my private life and evening study programming.”

“I already like the fact that I have recently started working as a recoverer. You also notice that they are open to improvement here and support you in your personal growth. My dream? Who knows, maybe in a few years I can make the transition to a position within IT here at VT Logistics (smiles).”
