From empty crate sorter to production worker
Don: “I started my career at VT Logistics as an empty crate sorter. I sorted dirty crates from mixed loads delivered by trucks to VT Logistics. My job was to ensure everything was sorted correctly and ready for the next step in the process.”
“Last year, I started as an ejection sorter, transitioning into production. In this role, I’m responsible for keeping the production line running smoothly by inspecting mixed bottles ejected by the line, sorting them, and placing them back on pallets. I enjoy the variety, especially because it gives me the sense that I’m contributing even more to VT Logistics and its recovery mission.”
“At VT Logistics, as a recoverer, you’re part of something bigger. I’m not just coming to work to keep VT Logistics running; I’m also doing it for the company’s sustainable and circular mission.”
A family atmosphere with open dialogue
“Working at VT Logistics means being in a place with a family-like atmosphere, where there’s room for dialogue between colleagues and managers. We can bring forward ideas and suggestions. You can also see that management listens to the proposals you make because they truly believe we can improve and grow together. That said, it’s not all serious here. There’s always room for a laugh along the way.”
