Bram: “As a technician, I am responsible for maintaining the machines, carrying out minor technical repairs and making improvements to the production lines. I also take on bottle testing to ensure that non-removable labels are recognised by the system. And that is more important than it sounds (smiles). We want to recover as many bottles as possible at VT Logistics, but then we have to send the right bottles through the washing process, and so the label has to be properly removable.”
“At VT Logistics, no two days are the same. I have a varied job and I actively contribute to improvement processes. I really like that variety. They also encourage you to think along here and even give you the freedom to ‘craft’ things together to see how the process can be improved.”
Smaller, but nicer
“I have worked for a big player before, but I really appreciate the family aspect of VT Logistics. You are closer to your colleagues here, and that really enhances the group atmosphere. All recoverers can laugh and joke with each other, including with our managers.”
“Everyone here is also open to new fellow recoverers. You will find that you are quickly absorbed into the group here. That was also the case with me (smiles).”
