VT Logistics operates the first fully automated empty bottle processing plant in the Benelux region. We pick up all types of empty crates and bottles – to sort, wash and return them to breweries for refilling via this plant. Our total service provision ensures returnable bottles can be reused up to 30 times before being melted down again. By centralizing and reusing everything, we’re promoting a circular economy – saving miles and reducing CO2 emissions.
Position
As a forklift driver inbound, you ensure correct preparation of the incoming full pallets, and primarily that they are correctly stored and recorded in the warehouse. You have work experience in the logistics sector and a reach truck licence.
- You ensure correct preparation of the received pallets by checking them for quantities and breakages, and labelling them in case of any shortcomings
- Unload the forklifts with correct storage in the bulk areas
- Load the trucks if necessary
- Place incoming goods in the correct place in the warehouse
- Cooperation is your core activity: you support other departments if necessary and help colleagues – clear and open communication is important throughout the whole team
- Good general orderliness and tidiness
- Ability to follow standard procedures
